Most builders warranty a house for one year. Therefore, we at Jersey First, advise homeowners to have a comprehensive home warranty inspection performed during the 11th month – shortly before the “warranty” expires. This inspection allows for covered defects and deficiencies to be brought to the attention of the builder for remedy, rather than be a future expense for you, the homeowner.
We will provide you with a report that identifies any issues and discuss those concerns with you in detail. The warranty inspection report can then be given to the builder to perform any needed repairs.
A warranty inspection, by Jersey First Inspection Services, can evaluate the overall quality of the home, provide a punch list of small repairs and occasionally, find significant problems that can save the buyer and builder thousands of dollars and prevent complex litigation and repairs.
